Terrible Accident

Kids will be kids - even when their safety is concerned. Yesterday, my 3 year old daughter was out with the rest of her sibings and their father, playing on the car swing. My husband had the swing going at a good height when my daughter ran out in front of it. The swing hit her from behind, causing her to fall face first onto a rock.

The good news, she was not unconscious and nothing was broken. The bad news, she had a terrible bloody nose and well, let's just say that I was fortunate to get a decent photo for my new banner. She has a terrible black eye and the bridge of her nose is pretty swollen. Think Odo, the changeling, on Star Trek. Odo with a black eye.

Poor baby.

She seemed oblivious of her injuries today. I just hope it heals quickly.
