We went shopping to day at the Natural Foods Co op. It turns out that the power went out and the compressors for the freezers never came back on. Everything had to be either thrown out and credited, or sold at a discount, or given away for free. It turns out that the Pint sized ice cream that they had was half off or more.
Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream was $1.50 a pint. It usually goes for $3.50 a pint. The single serve Rice Dream treats were free. Never cared for rice milk products, but for some strange reason, they were surprisingly good. Maybe it's because I didn't have to pay for it.
It's too bad that they had already thrown out the deli pickles.
