My midwife came here today. She had to do something in Rutland and found that she wouldn't have been able to get back to her office/home in time. It was just easier for her to come here instead.
So she came over and did the regular routine. I had to sign informed consent forms for the RhoGAM shot (I'm A negative) and the diabetes test.
She said that she could come in two weeks instead of the monthly visit, but my pregnacy is so uneventful, that she didn't see a need for it. I almost said that we should get our money's worth, but decided against it. We are already paying considerably less for home birth than we would have paid for a hospital birth.
My heart rate is low: 96/64. I guess I'm almost dead... ;). The baby is now head down which is also very good. I REALLY don't want to deal with a breeched birth (it is very possible, more possible than you are led to believe). The heartrate of the baby is healthy and at the lower end of the scale. Possibly a boy? I hope so. I don't have a girl name picked out yet.
Anyway, it's one of those really uneventful pregnancies. I'm certainly not complaining. I want this baby at home, like the others. It looks like I'm getting what I want - again.
