Tomorrow, we go to a rather large church to hunt for a rather large number of plastic eggs, which most will contain hyperactivity enacting candy.
Sunday, we Celebrate easter with another egg hunt, with more candy, and all a few days before our long trip.
I'm going to have to do one of two things. Hide the candy and ration it out, which I've done in the past. Or let them have it all on Monday, giving them Tuesday to crash and get it all out of their system. Of course, knowing the two youngest girls, they won't eat it all in one day.
My son on the other hand will eat all of his and then try to get the girls to share theirs. My three year old will share because she is quite generous. I have to come to her defense a few times because I know she would go without otherwise.
I better set some ground rules tomorrow morning. What they get is what they get and if they eat it all, then that's too bad. It would be so much easier just to ration it out.
Decisions, decisions.
