Whiteout

I had to be at the doctor's office by 11:30 this morning. It was snowing like crazy. It was quite the blizzard.

We ended up getting behind someone who shouldn't be driving in the snow. While going slower in this type of weather, there IS a difference between taking it easy and driving slower than walking.

I predicted this would happen. There's always that person, who shouldn't be driving because they are too unsure of driving in the snow. Being unsure in the snow is just as bad as being overconfident. The least she could have done is pull over for those who actually know how to drive in the snow. Fortunately, we did leave early enough to make it to the Doctor's office 5 minutes late.

They didn't seem to mind, probably figuring on the weather. So I went through the typical process of going to a doctor. I was weighed, asked a million questions, and then I had to pee in a cup. Okay, you don't always have to pee in a cup when you go to a doctor, but I had to this time, which is quite a feat when you are 9 months pregnant.

It does turn out that I do have a bladder infection. So, now, I'll have to take antibiotics. I really don't like taking antibiotics because it really messes with my system. I'll have to eat a lot of yogurt and kefir to replenish the good bacteria that the antibiotics kill.

After, we went to "A Crust Above" for Pizza. The best pizza place in Rutland. Then we went to Wal-mart so that I can pick up some boots for my son, who seemingly outgrew is older boots overnight.

By the time we drove home, it warmed up a little and the roads were clear. No more delays, which was great, since I was anxious to get home.

I start the antibiotics tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be too bad.
