Lunch at my mother's

Today we went to my mother's house early. My husband wanted to get some wiring done. It was pretty uneventful and being gone all day was really nice, since it didn't take me that long to get the house clean. After all, we weren't home to mess it.

I didn't blog last Sunday, and I don't think I will anymore. Instead, I plan on blogging on my own site an "article". I'm not saying what it is yet... But you'll find out tomorrow night.

My daughter seemed to have forgotten that she had scratched her eye yesterday. I watched her for a long time. Not once did she rub it. What a relief.

My oldest daughter freaked out when she saw the millions of ladybugs crawling on the walls on my mother's home. Apparently, there's some sort of plague going on and it missed downtown. But it's not that big of a deal since they eat all those nasty aphids. But I had to explain that to her. After a while, she calmed down and played outside with her older brother without further incident.

My father had lit the stove earlier that morning and it was stifling by the time lunch came around. The weather was really nice and the temperature was in the 60's. Not bad for the time of year when we are supposed to have a few inches of snow on the ground by now. Of course tomorrow, it's supposed to rain.

Anyway, we got home and I ended up putting my youngest into bed at 6:00 this evening because she seemed so tired. She didn't have a nap, but she hadn't had a nap all week. So it would appear that she may not be taking any naps anymore. This means I won't be taking any naps anymore. I'll have to work around it somehow...

Perhaps I should just go to bed earlier...
