This is a blog of a happily married, stay-at-home mom of five kids. Expect mostly everything here.

I'm so proud of myself...

I spent less than $100 at the natural food co-op AND that included lunch for me and my two girls. Hopefully next week, I can get my act together and bring my own lunch. I think I'll make some blueberry muffins.

At the second store, I ended spending $50.00 on some things I'm going to need for after the baby is born as well as a large brick of american cheese, 2 crates of clemintines, a fruit bowl, and a small coffee.

I usually come close to the $200 mark, but not this time.

The kids love the clemintines, especially since they all can peel it so easily. I like it because they get that vitamin C that's so crucial to keeping the flu bug at bay. It seems to be working so far, since the only thing that my kids have gotten was a mild fever and the "sniffles".

I did break down and got some cereal that was on sale at the Natural Food Co-op. We are supposed to leave early to drop at least 2 of the kids off at my mother's house and then we leave for Rutland. We'll probably do some shopping then go to the midwife. Then we can go for lunch. We will probably go to "A Crust Above" (which makes excellent pizza, btw).

I need a lot of little supplies. So I'll probably end up spending more money tomorrow. It's funny, I know I need these things, but I hate spending money and I always end up putting it off for way too long. Now my white are dingy (need bleach), my broom is shedding, and I have been having a difficult time splitting leftovers in the small sandwich bags - since I'm out of gallon-sized bags again.

*sigh* C'est la vie, I suppose...
