Time's running out

My sister will be using the spare room on Saturday. Tomorrow, I'm supposed to go shopping, but my husband thinks we should wait a day.

I really need the non-homoginized milk. It seems that I can digest that better than the regular milk without any problems with heartburn.

Perhaps I should ask him to go shopping for me. He is supposed to drop the two older ones at my mother's house in the morning. So, if he were to go shopping for a few things at least (and I will be all set until next week because I'm going to dig into my reserves), and I were to get the typical household work done, we will be able to have the downstairs cleaned out by the time my daughter takes a nap. Then we could take a break and spend time with each other - maybe.

It never seems to work out the way I want it. Knowing my luck, the youngest will be clingy tomorrow, or I'll be sick, or the the three will trash the livingroom in a matter of minutes, just before breakfast (that has happened in the past).

Right now, the house isn't really bad. It will probably take me 15 minutes in each room and the basic house cleaning will be done. That would be an hour's worth of work downstairs.

If tomorrow goes like today, I'll be all day in the kitchen because for some reason, the kitchen seems to mess itself up. It was one of those days today, I felt like I was working like a slave and yet nothing seems to be getting done. It was like one of those dreams where you are running and running and running and yet, you aren't getting anywhere.

I did take a nap today, and I slept exceptionally well. It help to keep the thick blanket over the window. I just hope I sleep that well tonight.

Anyway, I'm going to wrap it up tonight. Today was pretty uneventful, since I spent most of the day in the kitchen - running in place.
