This is aggravating. If she was on welfare already, why did she get pregnant again? With the amount of birth control options out there, why is she putting more dependents on the welfare system?
My husband and I wanted a large family, so we are working to support one. We are even selling the house and using the equity to build a more efficient house so that there are lower bills so that we can support our kids.
It's one thing for b-control to fail. I've seen it happen a few times myself. It's also another to already have a large family and something happens. However, to intentionally get pregnant while dependent on other peoples money (aka tax), is irresponsible.
I wonder how the woman who has 16 children - oh no, wait - they just had 17, oh wait... now they have another on the way... there's no way I'll be able to keep track as I type this. They actually support that whole family, but I wonder how many people assume that they are a "drain on the system" because so many women (girls?) are putting out more kids while on welfare?
Tis sad indeed.
