Being a stay-at-home-mom, Monday is like the rest of the week. I typically don't get a day off, maybe one day will have less work than the other, but that's about it.
That said, usually Mondays require more cleaning than the rest of the week, because for the most part, we aren't home. You would think that there would be less work because the kids aren't home either, lessening their exposure to the toys and other means to make a mess. But, instead, they make up for it when they home. How? I have no idea. I just know that at the end of the day, the house is just as messy as it is when we are home all day.
Since it's Sunday, and that I grew up with having Sunday off, and that I've already been running around with four kids, I just don't feel like doing any real cleaning. So I put it off until Monday, where I end up using that day as a "catch-up" day.
Now, I've got some "catching-up" to do.
