Ahh choo, or KerChoo?

The past couple of days have been miserable. For some odd reason, my allergies have decided to make a full frontal sinus attack.

Interestingly, aside from the past couple of days, my allergies haven't been that bad. Just a little runny nose, the occasional eye itch and sometimes a sudden sneeze attack. The past couple of days however, it went from mild to severe in a matter of minutes. My eyes itched and burned so bad that I felt like clawing them out. At one point my entire face itched and my tongue itched.

I wished it was just a fog like those allergy commercials put it. Then maybe I would have enjoyed the past couple of days. I didn't have that much to do.

It did seem that both times, there was a storm looming over the horizon. Sure enough an hour later, the wind would pick up and the thundering would commence. I wonder if plant pollen production increases during this time. It would make sense because bees usually are the most active just before a rainstorm.

If you are wonder whether or not that I took medication for it or just suffered until the attacks passed, I did neither. I had a spoonful of local raw honey and a glass of creamline milk. 10-15 minutes later, there were no symptoms.  At least it seemed to be the honey. If not, that's one powerful placebo effect and a sweet one, too.

That's handy way to stop allergy. I would love to try that too. By the way, what is creamline milk?

Thanks for sharing.

Creamline milk is just milk that's not homogenized, the cream floats to the top. It's hard to find, but the natural food co-op nearby sells it.
