I could swear that I worked harder today than any other day. If this is the case, then why is it that the house looks just as bad as it did yesterday? Why is it that there are days where I don't feel like I work so hard and the house looks spotless. Why is it that the bad days always happen when I need a "good day" the most.
I finally "lost it" and told the kids that if the house wasn't clean and we weren't packed by 2:30pm tomorrow (we plan on leaving around 5 or so) then we just aren't going. Then I dramatically set my watch to 2:30pm.
Tomorrow is supposed to be partly sunny and 45 degrees. I think I'm going to make them play outside for most of the day. That should help.
