6 more days and then I much more than safe to have the baby at home. My husband seems a little anxious as well.
We went to my mother's house today for lunch. It may have been a bad idea. It was quite bumpy and the ride was very uncomfortable, since we took the truck instead of the van. The truck has the extended cab, so the three kids can sit in the back, although it would have to be an emergancy after the baby is born. I don't know if I want to cram the 6 of us in there.
I think I did everything wrong today with regards on trying not to go early. Aside from the really bumpy ride, I did have to help the kids into the truck (lifting) and last night was an awful night when it came to sleep. I'm trying to get my youngest to sleep in her new room. Actually it's her old room, but now my other daughter moved in and my husband and I moved down the hall to what was a storage room.
But the youngest wouldn't stay asleep. She just kept waking up, crying. So I would get up and comfort her, put her back into her bed, then stay a few minutes to make sure she fell asleep. I finally gave up and let her sleep in my bed. Actually she had slept in her crip in our room up until last night. So having her in my bed was a little different. But I was so tired, I slept anyway. At least for a couple of hours.
So, now, I'm practically falling asleep. Hopefully she does better tonight.
