I hate migraines, but there are some days where I seem to intentionally induce one - like replacing coffee for sleep, not getting enough water, etc, etc.
I did this last week - only one week after getting my first migraine in one and a half years. You would think I would have learned by now, I can't get any less than 6 hours of sleep - but no, I HAD to reorganize a few rooms, and since the kids were sick, the only time I could do it was instead of using the computer and THEN (oh, yes, it gets worse), I decided to use the computer instead of sleep.
It turns out that I haven't lost that geek-ness after all. Unfortunately, I'm not as young as used to be and need sleep now more than ever. As a result of my lack of judgement, I lost about three days to migraines.
I think I'm finally over it. I even cut way back on coffee and eventually, I will eliminate it altogether.
