Apparently, my computer is suffering from mechanic's syndrome. You know what I'm talking about: Something breaks, so you call the technician and (s)he comes over to check the "broken" item out - only to find that whatever was supposed to be broken suddenly works.
Well, I went to show my husband (my technician) my "broken" computer today. Lo and behold, it booted. No bios post beeps, or anything. It was as if nothing was wrong with it.
We did both agree that the laptop needs a good cleaning anyway. So he's going to take it apart and clean it out, along with another laptop that also seems to have Mechanic's syndrome. This one had tea spilled on it and quit working. When my husband booted it, it also booted readily.
*sigh*
Well, I'm blogging again, at least for a little while. When my husband cleans it out, it may be a few days without a computer again.
Maybe, I should have had him look at it a few days ago.
