I actually took a nap today and I still feel like I can sleep a few more hours. Pregnancy has a way to make you do things that you don't want to do, like slow down.
So here I am, with my feet up, waiting out the last leg of my pregnancy journey. Like all of the other pregnancies I had gone through, it was different. You would think after four pregnancies, the fifth would have some similarities to the others, but no, it's very different.
For instance, instead of being invincible to every illness out there, I seemed to have catch every single bug, every single sniffle that I saw on YouTube. I even caught a few computer viruses and I never get computer viruses. The other pregnancies, I was able to share drinks with the sick kids, and I would never get sick. No bragging rights this time.
So, instead of an energetic second trimester, where I got a lot of projects done, I end up spending most of the time on the couch, trying really hard to hold the liquids down, or catching up with the housework created by lightly supervised kids.
Now, I'm down to five weeks until my due date, 3 weeks until it safe for me to have the baby at home, and I have so many boxes to go through.
What's more, my brother is still here and after what happened with my parents and the property that they aren't getting, it looks I won't have my dining room back, not to mention that he's staying in the room I am supposed to give birth in. Looks like he will be staying in our room soon. This is another long post I plan on putting up soon. Right now, I'm going to try to get some housework done.
