My sister moved in with my mother for the last couple of weeks that she is in Vermont. She leaves on the day after Christmas.
I was spoiled. Now I actually have to do the dishes by myself.
Anyway, my husband has most of the room done upstairs. We will be living in a stripped down version of what the room will be tonight, but I don't mind. As long as I get to sleep.
I don't know if the youngest is ready to sleep in a bed that isn't in the same room that I was. We will see tonight. I will keep the doors open so that she knows that she can always hop into bed with me tonight (since her old bed won't be up), if she really needs to.
I did that with my oldest daughter and it seemed to work very well. She liked the idea of sleeping in the brand new tiny bunk bed my husband had built, but just in case, I had the doors open.
She still hops in bed with me on rare occasions. Typically, I let her do it when I get tired of getting up to make sure that she's alright after a nightmare.
My son, who was sleeping on the top bunk is graduating to a large twin bed. He's quite excited to have his own room. I jokingly told him that if this baby is a boy, it won't be his own room for long so that he better enjoy it while he can.
My husband thinks it's a boy. I want it to be a boy, but only because I haven't decided on a girl's name yet.
I guess I should look now...
