Thanksgiving day

We went to my mother's house for dinner. It was very good. I was very good. It wasn't like I had a choice or anything, because this late in the pregnancy, I had to be careful or the baby will try to push the excess out.

So I didn't stuff myself. However, instead of my usual bowl of 6-grain cereal tonight, I had an apple pie. It was made with pre-made, organic, whole-wheat crust, apples and spices, and sweetened with apple juice concentrate. No added sugar. So I didn't do too bad when it comes to junk food. I did have another apple pie at my mother's house that did have sugar. I also took a couple bite of a chocolate pie but realized that I getting too full to finish it.

It snowed a lot today, so I ended up walking part way up my parents really steep drive. I didn't fall, in spite on how slippery it was. I was wearing my steel toe boots which happens to have some decent treads, and yet it took a lot of effort to keep my feet from slidding from under me.

We need some winter tires... The all season tires we have on there now are awful.
