Running in place...

It was one of those days. Something as simple as cleaning the kitchen, which was only supposed to take an hour, took all day.

I felt like I worked really hard all day and the only thing showing for it is that the bathroom isn't trashed and the kitchen is clean. The livingroom is moderately clean but the diningroom is a mess.

All day. I was probably online this morning for about 20 minutes. Other than that, I seemed to be working on getting the kitchen clean. I was going for a spotless clean so that tomorrow, all I had to do was just do breakfast cleanup tomorrow and my husband can get right to work on our kitchen lights. Hopefully, next monday, we will be able to get the walls and cabinets painted.

I was kind of hoping to get the room upstairs cleaned out tomorrow. After today, I'll just settle for half of the room emptied out. It's getting to that point where doing anything for a long period of time is tiring.

My kids were pretty good today, except for some reason, they got hurt a lot - well, that and they didn't seem to get that when the floor is wet, it isn't a good idea to walk across it. Now, they have no where to go past the kitchen, since the kitchen is at the end of the house. And they never seem to really need anything at the time - except to try to burn off energy by running at full speed to about halfway in the kitchen and sliding on their knees the rest of the way. OF course, this would explain why they got hurt a lot. At least they weren't fighting, anyway.

Of course I would get angry and tell them that if they really want to run around, they can bundle up and go outside. They would complain that it is too cold and settle down for about 30 seconds. The the pattern would repeat itself again. At least until my husband got home.

My wonderful husband. He had to fix someone's computer, so he was home late. Just before he finished, he called saying he was "in the mood" for pizza. So I didn't have to cook lunch. As nice as this is, it somewhat compounded my frustration that I hadn't got the kitchen cleaned sooner.

*sigh*

My husband and I discovered that it wasn't the network, but the ISP causing all the problems. It was just coincidental that when I plugged in the ethernet cable that the internet worked.

Tonight, I'm typing in the bedroom again, meaning that I'm not tied to a cable. Although the internet seems flaky. I was able to work some on my new blogging templates tonight. I'm hoping to get it up soon, but it seems that Mozilla doesn't do too well with CSS.

I've got to figure something out. So I had decided to learn more about CSS. Maybe, just maybe, I will have a blog that is compatible with at least two browsers (Mozilla and IE).

I did find a site that might help me out in my venture in learning CSS:

Now, it's off to school... XD.
