Modblog is down - again. I wonder what it is this time. It's quite annoying.
I had found a php script for a chatterbox, but it doesn't work. I'm going to try to find one today. If not, I'll have to find yet another chat/shoutbox on a third party server. I really didn't want to do that. Knowing my luck, it will go down a few times as well.
Well, onto family life:
The kids are doing well. Of course it helps that we got another kid's video from netflix as well as the videos from Big Idea.
One of the videos that we got from big idea is called "Lord of the Beans". It's a spoof of some sort. Can you guess what movie it spoofs? Gee, I haven't got a clue (being sarcastic of course).
The kids have been watching those videos for hours.
Well, except my son, who seems to think he owns the DVD player and tried taking out the movie that was already playing so that he could watch the video of his choice. So he's been banned from it for a while. Actually, he's been quite destructive lately. He bit a piece out of a new book that I had bought for Sarah. Actually, it was part of a group of books that
He's been banned from the computer for slamming the mouse when he didn't win a game as well. This means that he won't have much to do tonight and will probably sulk that he's bored.
I guess there are days where he is really good and there are the days where he seems to act up an awful lot. Interestingly enough, my husband wasn't home that early this morning. Because he went hunting. I wonder if that has anything to do with that.
My youngest daughter is enjoying her cousin's company. Especially since he has brought all of these "new" toys with him. Several times I reminded her that the toy that she won't share wasn't hers in the first place. We can't hide the toys since my nephew has to have his "kitty" ( a black stuffed kitten), it gets difficult to separate her from his toys.
Although I have found that the more rested she is, the more likely she will give it back without a fuss. She seems to be adjusting to the new schedule I put her on and today she actually gave the toy back willingly.
